Senior BID Manager

Step into a strategic leadership role where your expertise drives some of Systematic’s most critical public-sector bids. If you thrive at navigating complex tender processes and enjoy shaping bid strategies, this is your chance to make a real impact in the public and private sectors. Join us and be part of winning solutions that truly matter.

The job
A Senior Bid Manager plays a strategic and leading role in Systematic’s commercial processes. You will be responsible for managing the most complex and high-impact bids, with a particular focus on tenders within the private and public sectors.

With a strong commercial mindset and senior level experience, you will not only drive individual bid processes but also contribute to the development of our overall bid strategy and capabilities.

This role combines strategic perspectives with strong analytical skills and commercial insight to ensure the best possible outcome for both the customer and Systematic. As a senior member of the team, you will engage and discuss with key peer roles and help shape best practices across the organisation.

In addition to the above, you will be involved in the following:

  • Strategic leadership of complex bids: The planning and management of strategically important and complex bids to the public sector within the agreed scope, quality and time.
  • Commercial analysis and optimisation: Conducting in-depth commercial analyses, risk assessments and pricing strategies using teamwork, advanced Excel models and economic analyses.
  • Senior stakeholder management: Facilitating and ensuring professional dialogue and strategic sparring with C-level management, sales, legal, finance, internal IT and delivery on the most critical bids.
  • Governance and compliance: Ensuring compliance with Systematic’s bid process and governance, as well as preparing strategic management information and decision proposals for senior management.

Joining the team
The purpose of this project is to support business development at Systematic by facilitating and managing large bids on IT projects. The primary focus is on the public sector – specifically healthcare and the public and private domain in general.

The team is a dynamic, closely knit and combined unit based at our Aarhus office, consisting of four Bid Managers and three marketing professionals. This team is part of the broader Healthcare Sales group, which has members located in Aarhus, Finland and the UK.

You’ll be joining a highly dedicated team known for its professionalism and collaborative spirit, which means you can always spar with knowledgeable colleagues, no matter the subject.

Your qualifications
You hold a master’s degree in business, economics, law or engineering, and have at least 5–7 years of experience in bid management or project/program management with a strong commercial focus. You have a solid understanding of the public sector, and ideally bring experience from working with the police or healthcare organisations. This background has given you hands-on experience with public tenders and sales to public institutions.

  • You have advanced Excel skills or experience with other economic analysis tools.
  • You are fluent in Danish and have strong English skills, both written and spoken.
  • You think innovatively, have strong commercial acumen, and you are an effective yet informal leader who brings out the best in a bid team.

As a person, you are independent and proactive, with a strong focus on structure, process and governance. When you see something that needs attention, you take the initiative, and you are confident engaging with key stakeholders across the business.

Holding a project manager certification is considered an advantage.

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
