Project Manager for a Product development team

About the position


We are searching for an experienced Project Manager for a Product development team. The team is based at our head office in Aarhus, Denmark. In this position, you will refer to a Program Manager with whom you will work closely. Your role will be to head an international, agile and highly-skilled team, maintain the overview of its current and future tasks, its budget, and have the responsibility for the satisfaction of your personnel by creating the right conditions to uphold a high level of performance in the team.

As a Project Manager in Systematic, you will lead an ambitious cross-functional project composed of Software Developers, Testers and User Experience designers. Responsibility and tasks


Your primary task will be to ensure delivery of projects on time and to the agreed service level, with the agreed level of quality and within the framework agreed upon with the customer. You will achieve results through motivation and delegation to your team while maintaining continuous dialogue with customers.


Your everyday tasks will vary and involve:

  • Plan and follow up on deliveries.
  • Ensuring the right staffing plan for the project.
  • Personnel management of the team
  • Secure contractual compliance with customers and sub-suppliers, including follow-up.
  • Tracking and ensuring progress, proactively taking the necessary measures.
  • Maintaining an overview of the project finances as well as reporting on KPIs.
  • Ensuring compliance with SLAs for maintenance, support, and operations.
  • Providing a high degree of job satisfaction and proactive competence development in your team.


Preferred skills


  • You have several years of experience as a Project Manager, where you have headed projects and related service level agreements for large and complex customers.
  • Your methodology is based on structure and overview, which help you ensure progress and direction for your project.
  • Others describe you as a skilled communicator because of the clarity of your dialogue across stakeholders and specialists.
  • You have a relevant educational qualification at master’s degree level.


Minimum qualifications


  • You have several years of experience as being a Project Manager with software development as a key element.
  • Former experience with responsibility for budget, deliverables and customer dialogue.
  • You have experience with personnel management.
  • You have technical understanding, either due to a relevant technical qualification within IT or your experience with software development projects.
  • You are fluent in Danish and English, both orally and in writing.
