Project Manager for IT Management

 

About the job
This is a new function within IT Management at Systematic. Systematic is growing in terms of both our international presence and the use of underlying technologies. The area needs constant development to maintain IT Managements ability to support the business activities.

 

The IT Management department focuses on ensuring continuous improvement, and engages in projects, both large and small, aimed at improving the area in terms of encompassing new technologies, business applications, security, global performance as well as in-house improvements. You will report directly to the IT Management Director, but work across all teams where necessary. This is an opportunity to work on a variety of different projects and initiatives and to make a positive difference.

 

Responsibility and tasks
Your main responsibility will be securing the delivery of key initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement, for example by ensuring that IT Management complies with all regulations and IT related frameworks, and by identifying and closing any gaps with the help of the entire team and other stakeholders.

 

Your daily tasks will comprise the following:

  • Project management on larger initiatives, e.g. infrastructure projects and new office set-up
  • Working with compliance to ensure that ITM is compliant with all the requirements as identified by Group Security and Business Process Improvement plus other standards
  • Project management office functions, facilitating processes such as business prioritisation, risk management and reporting
  • Contributing to process improvements, automation and KPI frameworks
  • Delegation, motivation and follow up of project team and suppliers
  • Departmental risk management to ensure that all risks regarding IT are captured, assessed and mitigation actions identified and implemented

 

You can expect 10-15 days of travel a year, largely to other Systematic offices, e.g. in Romania.

 

Minimum qualifications

 

  • You are an open, honest and clear communicator who can facilitate project management and collaboration across stakeholders, vendors and IT staff
  • You are motivated to drive and lead business improvements
  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager and at using project management tools
  • You have experience with working in an IT-related business
  • You are fluent in English (both written and oral)

Preferred qualifications

 

  • You hold an IT degree and have min. 5 years of experience as a Project Manager with a technical background in a software company
  • You possess experience with compliance frameworks and/or regulatory frameworks, ITIL, and you hold certifications within project management (e.g. PRINCE2)
  • You are fluent in Danish (both written and oral), but you are used to working in English due to your international experience

  • The ITM team is split between Aarhus, DK, and Bucharest, RO. This position is based in Aarhus.
