About the position

The position is based at our office in Aarhus, Denmark, where you will join a recently launched program called SitaWare Insight, a tool for supporting decision-making in the defence sector that transforms data collection/management and provides commanders with advanced data capture and analysis capabilities. It is impressive – read more about it here:

You will be joining a group of about 40 colleagues, situated in both Denmark and Poland, who are highly motivated to develop this program to the next level. The teams are organised as full-stack scrum teams including Scrum Masters and Testers and assisted by Architects and UX Designers. You will be working closely with the Program Manager and two Project Managers.

Initially, you will be running one scrum team made up of four skilled Developers, one Intern and one Student Assistant. Depending on your experience and motivation, you will assume complete responsibility for people management from day one, or you will grow into the role in due time. Either way, you will be fully supported by and receive sparring from your mentor.

Your main responsibility will be to set the direction for and motivate your scrum team to ensure the successful launch and implementation of this new product.

Your main tasks include:

  • Planning, tracking, delivering and reporting on progress in the projects
  • Participating in the recruitment of the scrum teams, as we want to scale up
  • Building and continuously improving high-performance scrum teams
  • Setting the direction for the teams and ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction, including growing talents
  • Driving the implemented strategic initiatives, and continuously improving development speed and product quality.

You thrive in a dynamic environment and you are eager to learn and develop.

In terms of hard skills, we are looking for someone with relevant experience in driving complex IT/SW projects, and/or experience from a role as team lead for a team of developers and/or experience as a scrum master or similar.
