Lead Architect for critical IT projects

Can you design and set the technical direction for complex IT solutions? Can you translate your curious mindset and extensive IT knowledge into value and business opportunities? If so, we have the perfect job for you.

You set the direction and decide the framework for our IT solutions
As Lead Architect, you create the frameworks and define the architecture of our IT projects in the public and private sectors, comprising deliveries to the financial sector, the police, local authorities and the healthcare sector. Systematic develops solutions for tomorrow’s users, giving you every opportunity to work with the latest trends and technologies within container-based infrastructure and customer-oriented applications.

Simplifying the complex
As Lead Architect, you need to think out of the box and devise never-seen-before solutions. With responsibility for designing, describing and presenting solutions which are adapted to our customers’ businesses, your role is very much about ensuring and thinking through a complete IT landscape for our solutions. You maintain a complete overview and ensure coherence between business and platforms, while involving both internal and external stakeholders

You help to ensure that we achieve our strategic goals and grow our business while ensuring deliveries to our customers with a high degree of reliability. Working with both new and existing business, you can go all-in on tenders and quotes, but also immerse yourself in critical project deliveries.

Taking a broad, interdisciplinary approach, you will:

  • design, describe and present solutions for tenders and customer dialogue
  • prepare blueprints and end-to-end architecture across IT platforms
  • provide input for software architects, project managers and other key people
  • realise your thoughts and visions on business-critical projects

Strong professional environment and world-class colleagues
At Systematic, we are constantly challenging one another, and as a result we are always at the cutting edge of developments and leading the way with our market solutions – when it comes to our working processes and new technologies as well as our use of modern frameworks. Consequently, you will have considerable room for manoeuvre and will be closely involved with our core business while working with some of Denmark’s most capable and visionary architects. Based on high levels of expertise, you can expect to receive qualified feedback on your daily work – in a working environment where our focus is on business, modernisation and digitalisation

You will be part of our Digital Transformation business unit, which specialises in business analysis, development, maintenance and running complex IT solutions. This is where incubation flourishes and new projects see the light of day at Systematic.

You will be part of an active knowledge network of IT architects and other strong professionals from all business areas whom you can use as sounding boards. You will have the opportunity to take part in events lasting 12 or 24 hours in which you discuss topics and listen to talks and become even better at identifying new opportunities.

Experienced and visionary
We imagine that you hold a degree in computer science, software technology or similar fields. You have a technical background and solid experience as a Lead or Enterprise Architect, and in addition you have practical experience from preparing tenders and providing consultancy, as well as an in-depth understanding of running a business. We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Architect with a wide range of skills who is familiar with the entire ecosystem, including tendering and quotation processes, agile development processes, private and public clouds – in short, a complete IT skill set. You also have experience with container-based infrastructure, large data migrations and complex deployments, as we need a profile that understands IT solutions end-to-end

In terms of your personal qualities, you thrive on being involved in new projects. You enjoy having several irons in the fire at both a strategic and architectural level, while at the same time being able to seek out and contribute to new business.

You describe yourself as a person with:

  • good communication skills who is able to formulate and present complex issues through clear messages
  • commercial acumen who is comfortable working with several tight deadlines
  • a high level of motivation and not least experience with tenders and quotes, and who has a good track record when it comes to winning contracts and securing new business
  • proactive attitudes who operates as a strong team player with the overview required to run multiple projects in parallel
  • a high level of expertise and with experience and/or certifications within, for example, Azure, security or enterprise architecture
  • an eye for opportunities who thinks out of the box when describing solutions that match our customers’ needs
  • fluent Danish and English skills, both orally as well as in writing, who has a flair for multi-level communication.
