Program Manager for QA and test management

Proactive leadership to take QA to the next level at Systematic
Referring to the VP Product Development, you will have the overall responsibility for ensuring the right product quality for the entire SW product suite for our global customers in the Defence industry. You will have a direct reference from 2 middle managers who's responsible for approx. 30 experienced, highly qualified specialists. primarily located in Denmark. You will also be a member of the Product Development management team, and will be expected to contribute to overall strategic and tactical development.

 

Your daily focus will be to create the foundations and plan for the development of QA, taking it to the next level concentrating on the effects of auto testing, along with further stabilising the test and quality processes for the entire business unit. Your success will be determined by your ability to execute, including ensuring that new products are delivered to the customers with the right level of quality, that test automation will be further developed with measurable effect on product quality, and that time-efficiency plus skill levels in the team are persistently improved to ensure plans are realised.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and implementing an autotest strategy on the basis of current experience and future requirements
  • Retain and develop test processes across the value chain
  • Personnel management, including the development of talent
  • Contributing to the overall strategic/tactical development of the business unit
  • Developing the next version of KPI/dashboards for the area
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation and stakeholder involvement.
  • Reporting and following-up

 

You will also be responsible for Product Support, a key function in relation to ensure support and delivery of our products. This is a small, global team in the process of being established in a new organisational unit.

An experienced, well-qualified, ambitious personnel manager
We expect you to be an experienced leader with at least 3 years’ experience within personnel management, although this could be your first position within management of management. We also expect that you have a bachelor’s or master's degree within Computer Science, Datalogics, Engineering or the like, minimum 5 years experience of professional QA processes, and/or test management. You will certainly have built up your experience within software business, and be familiar with software testing and development. Last but not least, you must speak and write fluent English.

 

As a person and leader, you will exhibit the considerable executive ability and a proactive approach, in which you are able to maintain focus. You will find it easy to work across departments and disciplines, and be comfortable with direct and indirect management. You can control your stakeholders, and ensure a continuous flow of communication. As a personnel manager, you will be good at spotting talent, and the various needs for support and ongoing stimulation.
