Product Owner for market leading health and care product

As our new Product Owner, you will play a key role developing Columna Cura – one of our newest products within healthcare IT. Columna Cura supports employees, patients, and relatives, throughout a citizen’s complete health journey. The product is operational and has already been purchased and implemented by more than 37 Danish municipalities. 

 

The Job
You will ensure we continuously deliver a high-quality product that is tailored for our customers and support the development of Columna Cura in relation to stability and daily operations. You will work with the best features of both Scrum and SaFe, as we continuously work on developing and optimizing our product, and the way we run projects.
You will be part of a development team consisting of a Scrum Master, a Product Owner, developers, testers and a Team Manager - all working close together. You will be one of two Product Owners on the team, responsible for your own product areas, while helping each other and the team across. 
The purpose of the role is to ensure domain specific knowledge in connection with the development of features and functions. In collaboration with the user interface designer, ensuring that the solution works in domain specific environments. Ensuring that the new functionality to be developed also fits into the overall product in an appropriate way.

 

Your job consists of the following tasks:

  • Drive, assist and execute the domain specific activities towards the development of features, functions and customer related activities
  • Backlog handling, refinement and participation throughout the development process of a feature or defect.
  • Prepare and conduct meetings and workshops with customer representatives and clinicians, and document decisions and results
  • Play a central role in translating customer needs and requirements to match our software solutions
  • Participate in selected testing of features and functions
  • Work independently and make the necessary decisions in collaboration with the team and other stakeholders in the organization
  • Take part in customer support, solving issues directly with our customers when necessary
  • Sparring and knowledge sharing around requirements with developers and architects in the different development teams
  • Sparring and knowledge sharing about requirements with Product Domain Advisor and Product Manager as well as Lead Domain Advisor
     

Your Profile
As our ideal candidate, you have an educational and professional background combining IT and Healthcare. Either you have experience from a similar role as a Product Owner or Domain Adviser in a health and care-software context, or you have become familiar with the domain from elsewhere. 
Also, you have worked with requirement specification and/or implementation before. 

 

Your personality is defined by the following:

  • You have good interpersonal skills, and are outgoing and proactive in your approach to tasks
  • You are a strong team player, but can work independently as well
  • You are a good communicator and presenter both in text and speech  
  • You are solution-orientated and able to find compromises when solving problems
  • You are structured with analytical skills and have an eye for detail
  • You thrive in a complex, fast-paced but exciting work environment
  • You can structure, prioritize and take independent responsibility for your own tasks

 

You must be a resident in Denmark, and you must be fluent in Danish to qualify for this position.
