Product Owner for market-leading health and care product
Are you passionate about the health and care sector? Do you have experience with both the domain and software? Then come and join Columna Cura!
As our new Product Owner, you will play a key role in developing Columna Cura – one of our newest products within healthcare IT. Columna Cura supports employees, patients and relatives throughout a citizen’s complete health journey. The product is operational, and has already been purchased and implemented by more than 37 Danish municipalities.
The job
You will ensure we continuously deliver a high-quality product that is tailored for our customers and supports the development of Columna Cura in terms of its stability and daily operations. You will work with the best features of both scrum and SAFe , as we continually work on developing and optimising our product and how we run projects.
You will be part of a close-knit development team comprising a Scrum Master, Developers, a Tester and a Project Manager. You will typically be working with one development team developing features within several product areas.
The purpose of the role is to ensure domain-specific knowledge in connection with the development of features and functions. In collaboration with the User Interface Designer, you will ensure that the solution works in domain-specific environments. Also, that new functionality to be developed fits into the overall product in an appropriate way.
Your job consists of the following tasks:
- Driving, assisting and executing the domain-specific activities towards the development of features and functions and customer-related activities.
- Preparing and conducting meetings and workshops with customer representatives and clinicians, and documenting decisions and results.
- Playing a central role in translating customer needs and requirements to match our software solutions.
- Participating in selected testing of features and functions.
- Working independently and making the necessary decisions in collaboration with the team and other stakeholders in the organisation.
- Taking part in customer support, and solving issues directly with our customers when necessary.
- Sparring and knowledge sharing around requirements with Developers and Architects in the different development teams.
- Sparring and knowledge sharing about requirements with the Product Domain Advisor and Product Manager as well as the Lead Domain Advisor.
Your profile
As our ideal candidate you have an educational background that combines IT and healthcare, and you have 3–5 years of experience from a similar position. You have possibly worked as a Product Owner or Domain Adviser in a health and care software context, or you have experience as a System Consultant in a municipality.
Moreover, you have previously worked with requirements specification or implementation.
Your personality is defined by the following:
- You have good interpersonal skills, and are outgoing and proactive in your approach to tasks.
- You are a strong team player, but can work independently as well.
- You are a good communicator and presenter, both orally and in writing.
- You are assertive, flexible and have situational awareness.
- You are solution-orientated and able to find compromises when solving problems.
- You are structured with strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
- You thrive in a complex, fast-paced but exciting work environment.
- You have a good overview, and can organise your own work tasks.
- You can structure, prioritise and take independent responsibility for your own tasks.
