Product Manager for SitaWare Aspire


Aarhus, Denmark.


Do you have a passion for product management, product marketing, and business model design? Do you have the drive and creativity to define the future of our new Training Product? Then you might just be the new Product Manager we need in Defence Service Product Management.


The job


With reference to the Director of Service Product Management, you will be part of the product management team. You will be responsible for leading the training product roadmap with support from architects, user experience designers, developers and content developers to ensure the product meets customer requirements. You will articulate the product vision from the point of view of customers and end-user, and support work on the business model from Systematic’s point of view. Furthermore, you will collaborate with Defence marketing to create internally and externally focused product collateral and define the product marketing key messages.


Your responsibilities include


  • Define and manage the product strategy, and roadmap.
  • Specify market requirements for current and future product releases by conducting market research supported by close interactions with sales executives, Services, and ongoing visits to existing and new customers.
  • Provide the sales team with the necessary product information, sales collateral and assistance at special customer visits.
  • Work with Defence marketing to define product marketing key messages.
  • Represent the company at conferences and trade shows, interface with industry analysts.
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition.


Your skills and personality


We are looking for a self-motivated and highly energetic individual, with ambition and professional commitment to lead our Training products to market success.

  • Experience in training within the Defence sector is a must
  • Knowledgeable in software technology (programming skills not required)
  • Knowledgeable in Product Development would be an advantage
  • Knowledgeable within simulation would be an advantage
  • Experience in delivering service offerings within the Defence sector would be an advantage
  • Possess an analytical way of thinking
  • Convert your domain knowledge into ideas and potential services
  • Not afraid of deep diving and understanding the details of a product
  • Able to use abstract thinking to understand the bigger picture and arrive at specific solutions
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in public presentations and/or classroom training
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • This position requires worldwide travel to customer and non-customer sites (10-15%)
  • Quick learner, organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize your own work
