Product Manager for SitaWare Mobile

Join the Defence Product Management team
With direct report to the Director of Product Management, you will join an established product management team in Defence. As Product Manager for our SitaWare Mobile product, you will lead the product roadmap definition with support from architects, user experience designers, and lead developers to ensure the product meets market needs, customer requirements and business objectives.
 
Shape the future of SitaWare Mobile
As our new Product Manager in SitaWare Mobile at Systematic, you are responsible for the entire product strategy, including identifying new market opportunities, establishing go-to-market plans with sales, and building supporting business cases. 

 

In addition to that, your primary tasks are:

  • monitor and analyse product business performance and competitive situation to track goals and inform the product roadmap and strategy
  • identify and specify market requirements for current and future product releases by conducting market research supported by close interactions with domain experts, sales executives, Services and ongoing visits to existing and new customers
  • work with the domain manager, user experience designers and technical architects to discover and define compelling and creative solutions to new user requirements 
  • engage with Sales and Services in proposal work, supporting by providing product guidance and approval of product expansions, and provide them with the necessary product information, sales collateral and assistance at special customer visits
  • participate in customer and market events to present product news and engage with participating customers to discuss improvement opportunities and new requirements
  • work with Defence marketing to define product marketing key messages and thought leadership pieces
  • conduct product release enablement and training for the Sales and Services organisations
  • represent the company at conferences and trade shows, interface with industry analysts and journalists.

 
Experienced Product Manager with a Strategic Vision 
Our ideal candidate has a solid experience as Product Manager working with B2B or B2E products and solutions, preferably within the software technology industry. A strategic mindset and experience with business-critical Enterprise Systems should support this. You can quickly grasp and gain insight into product management tools and effectively translate field challenges into software solutions or features, which could also be a strong fit.

 

Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has: 

  • excellent natural communication skills and ais a strong collaborator. You possess a curious and an analytical mindset, as well as an outgoing and enterprising approach
  • a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, software engineering, business administration, or a related discipline.

 

Finally, this position requires worldwide travel to customers and non-customer sites (10-15%).

 

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here
