Product Manager, SitaWare Aspire 

 


Do you have what it takes to lead the product strategy for our software training solution to drive continuous commercial success and maximise customer value? In this role, you will identify market opportunities, develop innovative solutions and collaborate with key stakeholders to expand SitaWare Aspire’s impact in the defence organisations.

Defence Service Products was established just a couple of years ago, but we have already built a committed team of 20+ professionals operating in both Aarhus and Copenhagen. 

 

You will be an integral part of a proactive, future-focused product management team. Service Product Management is committed to driving the continuous success of SitaWare Aspire, and the mission is to shape and execute the product strategy, ensuring we meet market needs and business goals. 

 

Our service product SitaWare Aspire is a digital training platform developed and designed to provide realistic, hands-on training for users of the SitaWare suite, a command-and-control (C2) software solution used in operational environments. This platform integrates the actual SitaWare application into the training environment, allowing users to engage in practical exercises with the same interface they would use in real operations.

 

Drive strategy, innovation and market growth
As Product Manager, you will lead the development and execution of our SitaWare Aspire training product strategy. In this role, you will define the future direction of SitaWare Aspire, shaping its business model, roadmap and overall strategy to drive commercial success and maximise customer value. 


Your responsibilities will include:

  • identifying and analysing new Aspire market opportunities, developing the business case and defining a strategy for the development of these opportunities 
  • leading and driving concept development within Service Products
  • monitoring and following up on Aspire product business performance and market trends, adjusting strategy and tactics as needed
  • defining market requirements through research and collaboration with domain experts, Sales and customers, working with Service Product Management, UX designers, domain experts and architects to develop innovative solutions
  • engaging with and supporting Defence Sales and Defence Services in proposals, product guidance, expansion approvals and key customer engagements with necessary information and sales materials
  • conducting product release training with the Sales and Services organisations. 

 

Furthermore, in this role you will have the opportunity to travel worldwide to visit trade shows and meet with customers, partners and end-users. 

 

Experience within the product management discipline 
To succeed in this role, you must have 2–3 years of product management experience together with a background in building software products. You probably hold a master’s degree in software engineering, business development or a related field bridging technology and business. 

 

We expect that you have documented impact on driving a product to success combined with expertise and experience within the product management disciplines, including market and competitor analysis, product discovery, strategy & planning, business cases, pricing, development and product launches. 

 

We are also looking for: 

  • a strong background in the military domain, ensuring a deep understanding of its unique challenges and requirements
  • fluency in English with superior communication and collaboration skills
  • excellent stakeholder management with a curious and analytical mindset along with an outgoing and enterprising approach
  • a results-driven leader with strong interpersonal and decision-making skills, and the ability to navigate regulations and processes effectively.
