Senior People & Culture Business Partner

 

 

Would you like to work with, advise, challenge and support our leaders on the people and culture agenda to inspire and develop our business?
 
Join us in this vital role where you will support our Defence business unit in implementing our growth strategy around the globe. You will support our leaders in Defence in close collaboration with an experienced business partner from the team. Your role will be key as we embark on our internationalization and digitization journey in People & Culture.

 
You will be an important sounding board for our leaders
As a Business Partner, you will be a key sounding board to the leaders and the organization you support, on anything related to People & Culture (P&C). Specifically, you will focus on developing and maturing the P&C processes towards our leaders. Furthermore, you will have the responsibility for developing and supporting the leaders according to our yearly cycle P&C processes.
 
One very important task is to support the leaders in growing and developing their teams to align with our Defence products success and market growth. You are the one to support and inspire them to develop the teams’ capabilities, ensure leadership pipeline and keep our high level of retention. Your ability to support them in their challenges and processes will be a direct reflection of your success in this role. 
 
Another important part of your job will be to participate in some of the important national and international recruitments in your area of responsibility in Defence to contribute the growth of the organization.

 

As a senior Business Partner you will also be part of the P&C Management team and are expected to contribute to the on-going development and improvements across functional areas in P&C. Our EVP promise is #neverstopdeveloping and we have a continued focus to deliver to that.

 

An ambitious department – where we challenge and help each other
You will be part of a highly skilled and professional P&C department with 3 dedicated teams in addition to the Business Partner team – People Services, Learning & Development and People Attraction.  In the Business Partner team, you will have four colleagues in a similar role, based in Aarhus, Copenhagen and Bucharest, Romania  
 
Each Business Partner has a specific Business Unit area of responsibility and we each run our own tasks. That, however, does not keep us from creating a great culture where we are ambitious together and help each other to succeed. Most importantly, we thrive on making a difference to the business. As you settle into the job, you will also be able to gain responsibility for specific process areas within P&C according to your skills and interests.
 
Business Partner background in a knowledge-based company
We imagine that you hold a master’s degree in HR, Organisation, Business Psychology or similar , combined with 5+ years of Business Partner experience, preferably from an international, knowledge-based company. 

 

Moreover, you:

  • Are fluent in English, and it is a plus if you also speak Danish and are familiar with Danish culture
  • Are independent and able to run your own part of a Business Partner area, identifying and prioritizing your tasks and driving the P&C agenda
  • Are outgoing and flexible, enabling you to handle multiple stakeholders across different functions and nationalities
  • Are skilled in handling various HR processes, as well as transforming HR metrics into actions and advisory
  • May have experience with SuccessFactors 
  • Will be preferred if you have international recruitment experience.

 

This position is based in our office in Aarhus, Denmark.
