Manager for Business Applications

 

Can you lead our Business Applications and team? Can you function as IT project lead for our business application project and support the business? Then we have the job for you.

 

You ensure IT is deployed efficiently and in line with our strategy
As Manager for Business Applications, you will be a working member of our IT Management team, where you, as the Lead, will play a significant role in developing and supporting a diverse portfolio of business applications across Systematic. We rely on vendors and therefore you can expect a significant amount of responsibility in relation to vendor management, and in addition you will manage a small team with high ambitions. You will primarily be working with D365, Sap SuccessFactors and collaboration tools such as Document Management and Teams. In addition, you will be responsibility for the business application budget and ensuring that expenditure and resources are tracked and remain within tolerance.

 

Furthermore, you will work with:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders to understand business drivers, requirements and priorities.
  • Building and managing the relationship with key Business Application vendors to Systematic.
  • Assist the IT service desk, operations and other 3rd parties as necessary in providing first class support.
  • Ensure change control for all business applications and thorough System/UAT testing prior to a full and controlled release.
  • To develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.

Experienced leader with a technical background
You preferably have a bachelor or master´s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar. Our ideal candidate has 2+ years’ experience as a Manager or comes directly from a position as Architect or Senior Developer, who is ready to take on new and exciting challenges as a Manager, whilst simultaneously supporting Systematic in improving internal efficiency. You thrive in a learning environment and is paced by self-learning. You are experienced in the world of Business Application, and have experience in working with applications such as, D365, SuccessFactors or similar. You have the abilities to drive and mentor your team, and ensure knowledge sharing and development is at the forefront. You see the big picture and can visualise structure and have a long-term perspective when you make decisions. As a person, you thrive in customer-oriented situations, and enjoy acting as a sparring partner for the business in relation to business applications.

 

Furthermore, the following describes you:

  • You have great communication skills and are able to formulate and present complex issues through clear messages
  • You seek results through co-operation and collaboration with your team
  • You support your colleagues and ensure knowledge sharing in the team
  • You have a proactive attitude and operates as a strong team player and driver
  • You are fluent in English, both orally as well as in writing.

 

There is limited travel activity but travels to Rumania or other locations can be expected as required.
