Lead software projects and grow high-performing teams
Now is your opportunity to lead two high-performing scrum teams delivering mission-critical software in our Defence business unit. As project and people manager for the SitaWare Insight product, you will drive impact through planning and strong leadership. Help shape the future of data-driven decision support using state-of-the-art technologies – while growing people and drive projects.
The job
We are looking for a project and people manager to join our Defence business unit and take the lead on our SitaWare Insight product; a data-driven decision support tool that helps intelligence officers and commanders to make informed, mission-critical decisions. You will manage two high-performing scrum teams of 5–7 people each.
This role combines project execution with people leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring the team delivers on its commitments in terms of scope, quality, schedule and cost. At the same time, you will help cultivate a culture where people are motivated, challenged and continuously developing – true to our core value of being people-centric and never stop developing.
You will work closely with your team to plan and execute iterations, establish a strong delivery rhythm and track progress against goals. When issues arise, you will identify solutions and drive corrective actions. Coordination with stakeholders and other project and people managers is key, ensuring alignment across the program. You will play an active role in supporting individual growth, coaching team members, sparring with them on challenges, and making sure they’re engaged, motivated and having fun along the way. You will also contribute to recruitment and team development as our program is growing.
Joining the team
You will be part of a strong leadership team working together to evolve and develop the SitaWare Insight product. As demand grows, we will expand our capacity to meet customer needs and to continue delivering high-quality solutions.
