As a Junior Software Developer at Systematic, you get the chance to take the next step in your career. In a safe environment at a technically advanced software company, you will have every opportunity to steer your development path. You can expect to learn a lot while applying what you have learned so far in your study programme.
At Systematic, we are focused on making everything better, and we are passionate about delivering the strongest solutions for our customers. You will become part of a dynamic and growing company where close collaboration with colleagues is key to making a difference together with world-class software.
Some of your key tasks will include:
- being co-responsible for certain parts of the software development
- troubleshoot, optimize and solve complex problems, including the development of new functionalities
- participating in Scrum team meetings as well as using Scrum as a tool in your daily work
- ensure the quality of the solution by reviewing and inspecting the design and code made by your developer colleagues
With time, there will also be scope for taking on more complex tasks as your skills and capabilities improve and grow.
The position will involve 10-15 hours of work a week, and we are, of course, flexible in relation to your studies.
Joining the team
The Mobile program delivers software to vehicles and the dismounted commander. The software can be used in military conflicts as well as for disaster relief operations. And it provides an API that allows customers to integrate with sensors and drones. It implements resilient network protocols, so front-line commanders have a shared situational picture. Above all, there is a high focus on ease of use.
The Mobile program consists of six scrum teams situated in Denmark and Romania. You will be part of one of these teams. The team currently consists of developers, a tester and a project manager. The team is located in Aarhus. It is a fairly new team who have worked together for 2 years.
