At Systematic, you will join our Legal Team - a team of nine whose main responsibility is to ensure that Systematic takes on the right contractual and commercial risks when preparing quotations, negotiating contracts and providing legal assistance to the Systematic Group. As a student assistant, you will help and support your team as well as our different Business Units with commercial, legal and compliance support in a number of business areas and countries, providing you with challenges while allowing for sparring to ensure your growth.

Help secure existing and new business
In this role, you will help to ensure support to the business with all legal matters, with a primary focus on IT-contracts in a national and international context. The Legal Team also support our Compliance Team with legal matters regarding e.g. GDPR, export control, trade compliance as well as other compliance areas.
Your day-to-day work will involve:
- reviewing NDAs, student agreements and other types of contracts,
- handling and maintaining the digital archiving of contracts,
- assisting in connection with, for example, open-source licences, trademark administration and personal data,
- assistance to our Compliance Team in relation to eg. export control, GDPR etc.,
- various administrative tasks.
Provisionally, the position will be 10–15 hours a week, but we are, of course, flexible depending on your study load.
A quality conscious problem-solver
We are looking for a new colleague who is currently studying law, business administration and commercial law or similar at MSc level with a particular interest in commercial law. Ideally, you have just completed your BSc degree or have at least 1½-2 years left of your studies.
At the same time, we also envisage that you:
- are able to work independently and be both structured and thorough and have an eye for quality,
- are naturally positive and constructive in your approach to new tasks and able to address problems from several angles,
- thrive with frequently changing tasks and a fluctuating workload,
- have people skills and are service minded as your tasks involve contact with people across the organisation,
- are fluent in Danish and have a good command of English, both in writing and verbally, as our corporate language is English, further German language skills will be an advantage (but not a requirement)
- have knowledge of IT law and/or tender law but this is not a requirement.
