Internship: Software Developer

Aarhus, Denmark.

About the position

Looking to be able to develop and deliver valuable software solutions that make a significant difference for customers within healthcare, defence, the police, public institutions, libraries and the educational sector while at the same time learning new skills in a working environment characterised by the freedom with responsibility? If so, Systematic is able to offer an internship, where the emphasis is on continual development, a steep learning curve and a good social environment where your skills, your knowledge and your ideas are heard and appreciated.

As an intern at Systematic, you will be treated as an equal with the other employees. You will be part of our team from day one and be involved in performing the team’s tasks. You will be able to organise your working day to a considerable extent, and, following a thorough introduction to the project and domain, you will be able to handle tasks independently. We will strive to strike a good balance between your personal wishes and formal study requirements and our expectations and priorities. The most important thing for us is that you learn a lot and enjoy your time at Systematic and that you find the internship to be a rich opportunity for professional and personal development.

Responsibility and tasks

As an intern, you will play a role in one of our many projects, so that, on an equal footing with your other team members, you will be jointly responsible for certain parts of the software development process and providing customer support. As an intern at Systematic, you will also be able to work with prototypes and innovation as well as the development of new programs/functions.

We will equip you thoroughly from the outset, and ensure that you have attended the right courses and that you have the right tools and professional coaching and feedback you need to meet the customer’s wishes. Within your team, you will help each other with your respective tasks, and therefore there are always two pairs of eyes checking the code being written.

When applying for an internship, you can state your preferred business area between the listed availabilities below, and thus have a possible say in which direction your internship will possibly take. We cannot guarantee your chosen place, but we will do our utmost to meet your wishes so that you have the best possible starting point for your internship.
