Internship: Junior Consultant for IT change management

Interested in change management and keen to apply what you have learnt through your studies? And are you dreaming of joining a large international company at the forefront of its field? Then seize this opportunity to join Systematic’s large IT Management (ITM) department!

Coordinator for an invaluable IT department
As a Junior Consultant, you can expect to join an invaluable IT department which forms the backbone of Systematic’s well-functioning software development. The ITM department runs IT projects and develops and maintains Systematic’s software development, business applications and IT infrastructure to provide IT support for all our colleagues – nationally and internationally.

You will join a large, competent and highly skilled team whose focus is on continuously facilitating, supporting and coordinating change across the business. From day one, you will be working on a par with all your Systematic colleagues, so you are expected to feel comfortable asking questions and working independently in line with our corporate philosophy of ‘freedom with responsibility’.

In addition to your team, you will become part of an Intern network with other Interns at Systematic, providing you with a rich opportunity to network across the organisation. At Systematic, we pride ourselves on having a corporate culture where it should be fun going to work.

Build and develop your professional prowess
Your primary responsibility will be to support your immediate manager, who heads the ITM department, giving you the best possible opportunity to test your skills at managing and coordinating changes across the entire business. Therefore, your daily tasks will include:

•    coordinating with relevant stakeholders – the team, business stakeholders etc.
•    assisting with process improvements
•    keeping the documentation overview up to date
•    assisting with Key Performance Result (KPR) reporting
•    reviewing release notes to ensure requirements and quality
•    supporting your team through various ad hoc tasks

You are the right fit
… if you are outgoing and currently studying change and/or release management at BSc or MSc level. At the same time, we are also on the lookout for someone who:

•    has an interest in IT as well as insight into IT processes
•    is a strong communicator, and thus able to coordinate and collaborate with many different stakeholders – both internally and externally
•    thrives in a busy environment while being proactive
•    manages their own tasks in a structured manner while paying attention to detail
•    is fluent in English, both orally and in writing. If you are fluent in Danish, it would be an advantage, but it is not a prerequisite

Practical information
•    The internship lasts five months, starting in February 2024.
•    The internship is a full-time position, but we are flexible with regard to your studies and ECTS requirements.
•    The internship is unpaid, but if your study programme allows it, you will receive a token of our appreciation each month.
•    When applying, please include your CV as well as your exam certificates.
•    We work with security-classified projects, and therefore, as a Systematic employee, you must have a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years. Please read more here.
•    If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on +45 8943 2000 and ask for Tim Timmins, Senior Director, ITM.
•    We are processing job applications as we receive them as we are keen to fill the position as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you!
