Internship: Communication intern for developing our internal communication

Aarhus, Denmark.

Are you interested in an internship in a professional and inspiring environment in which you play an important role in developing Systematic’s internal communication platform? Are you a skilled communicator and in tune with target group needs, and can you establish an overview and structure?

Knowledge and information sharing across the organization

We are looking for a skilled and structured intern for our Marketing and Communications department. You will join a team of 11 skilled and helpful colleagues who work with internal and external communication, digital presence and sales.

As an intern, you will become an important part of further developing Systematic’s new and modern intranet, and in this way help to create an overview of and coherence between internal deliveries. You will also become involved in the planning and preparation of internal news items for our in-house communication landscape.

Responsibility and tasks

  • Create an overview of the knowledge and information that is already available on our intranet
  • Develop and ensure the migration of content from any old platforms
  • Help to develop a governance model for content maintenance
  • Work with metadata to make it easier to conduct data searches
  • Prepare text and news items, primarily in English

Trust and openness

As an intern at Systematic, you will be treated as an equal with the other employees. You will be part of our team from day one and be involved in performing the team’s tasks. You will be able to organise your working day to a considerable extent, and, following a thorough introduction to the projects, you will be able to handle tasks independently. The most important thing for us is that you learn a lot and enjoy your time at Systematic and that you find the internship to be a rich opportunity for professional and personal development.

Preferred skills

  • You have a good sense of order and are able to create an overview.
  • You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.
  • You thrive on being able to work independently, and structure your own working day in line with our corporate philosophy of ‘freedom with responsibility'.
  • You are structured and willing to take on new tasks and tackle new challenges.

Minimum qualifications

  • You are studying for a relevant degree within communication, for example, an MA, an MA in International Business Communication, an MA in Media and Communication or journalism.
  • You speak and write Danish fluently and have a high level of English.
  • We work with security classified projects and as a Systematic employee, you need a security clearance. Read more about it here: https://systematic.com/en-gb/careers/security-clearance/

Practical information

  • The internship lasts five months, starting in February 2022.
  • The internship is designed as a full-time position, but naturally, we are flexible in relation to your studies, regarding counselling, your internship report and ECTS points requirements.
  • The internship is unpaid, but if your study programme allows, you will receive a token of our appreciation each month.
  • If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on +45 8943 2000 and ask for Anne Mette Westergaard, Internal Communication Consultant, SF Group Communication.
  • We will be processing job applications as we receive them as we are keen to fill the position as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you!
