Internship – Implementation Consultant with military experience

Do you have experience in the military domain and wish to apply it in a technology and healthcare context? At Systematic, we offer an internship within our Battlefield Health team, where you will combine your domain knowledge and technical skills to help test, configure, and implement solutions that make a real difference to healthcare in defence.

Expected start: Spring 2026

Your role as a Implementation Consultant Intern
As a Implementation Consultant Intern, you will contribute to bringing our Battlefield Health solutions to life for customers. You will be involved in preparing, testing, and configuring systems, while supporting project managers with planning and reporting. This provides hands-on insight into both technology and project work.

Your daily tasks may include:

  • Testing solutions to ensure quality prior to delivery
  • Assisting with project management tasks such as planning, presentations, and reporting
  • Configuring solutions to reflect customer workflows and user needs
  • Preparing demonstration environments for customer presentations

Join our Battlefield Health team
You will become part of the Projects & Delivery department in Systematic’s new Battlefield Health Market Unit, which is a division of our Healthcare Business Unit. Battlefield Health combines our healthcare and defence solutions into a Military Medical Information System that supports critical decisions in demanding environments.

As Battlefield Health is a new and growing product area, you will have a unique opportunity to be innovative and shape how we work. You will also collaborate with international colleagues in sales and product development, all working together to deliver the best possible product for our customers.

Life as an intern
At Systematic, interns are considered an integral part of the team. You will be assigned a dedicated tutor or mentor who will guide you through your tasks and provide ongoing support to foster your professional development. You will collaborate closely with colleagues who are eager to share their expertise, while being trusted with responsibility early in your internship. This balance allows you the freedom to learn, explore new approaches, and build confidence in your abilities.

We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions, while also prioritising a positive work environment – whether through shared laughter, a strong cup of coffee, or meaningful connections with colleagues. In addition to your team, you will join our intern network, where you can build relationships, share experiences, and participate in social events with other interns across the organization.

Who we are looking for
We imagine that you are currently studying Health Technology, IT Product Development, or a similar programme. You might also come from another educational background where you combine technical skills with knowledge of healthcare or defence – we are open to different profiles.

What truly sets you apart is your experience in the military or defence domain – whether through service, reserve duties, or relevant projects.

You are likely to thrive in this role if you:

  • Bring insight or experience from the military or defence domain
  • Are curious and motivated by learning new skills and technologies
  • Enjoy working in a structured manner and can take responsibility for your tasks
  • Like to collaborate but are also comfortable working independently
  • Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken (Danish is an advantage, not a requirement)

The internship is a full-time position lasting five months, commencing on 2 February 2026. It is a paid position if your study programme allows.

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
