Dreaming of working with legal tasks at an international level, and are you eager to gain more hands-on experience within your field of study? If so, we have the perfect internship for you!

Join a well-established and valuable team
At Systematic, you will join our Legal Team (part of Commercial & Legal Services (CLS)) – a nine-strong team whose main responsibility is to ensure that Systematic takes on the right contractual and commercial risks when preparing quotations, negotiating contracts and providing legal assistance to the Systematic Group.

As a CLS Intern, you will help and support your team as well as our different business units with commercial, legal and sales support in a number of business areas and countries, providing you with challenges while allowing for sparring to ensure your professional development. You will also help our Compliance Team in connection with export control, trade compliance etc.

Help secure existing and new business
In this role, you will help to support the business with all legal matters, with a primary focus on IT contracts in a Danish and international context. The Legal Team also supports our Compliance Team with legal matters regarding e.g. GDPR, export control, trade compliance as well as other compliance areas. Your day-to-day work will involve:
•    reviewing NDAs, student agreements and other types of contracts
•    handling and maintaining the digital archiving of contracts
•    assisting in connection with, for example, open-source licences, trademark administration and personal data
•    preparing various notes/minutes
•    assisting our Compliance Team in connection with e.g., export control, GDPR etc.
•    handling various administrative tasks for Commercial & Legal Services.

A quality conscious problem-solver
We are looking for a new colleague who is currently studying law or similar at MSc level with a particular interest in commercial law. At the same time, we also envisage that you:
•    thrive with frequently changing tasks and a fluctuating workload
•    have people skills and are service-minded as your tasks involve contact with people across the organisation
•    are fluent in Danish and have a good command of both written and spoken English as our corporate language is English; German language skills will be an advantage (but not a requirement)
•    have knowledge of IT law and/or tender law, but this is not a requirement.

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here

Never stop developing
Systematic is truly international, proudly Danish and uniquely people-centric. Together, we write intelligent and innovative code to drive progress and improve lives. We develop IT solutions that make a real difference where it matters most. This is why we never stop developing. Here, there is room to be professional and personal. It is not just a place to work but a place to belong.

In addition, you can also look forward to becoming part of an Intern network with other Systematic interns as well as student workers through our student network – Studematic. You can look forward to joining our Employees Club offering almost 100 social/professional events a year – plenty to choose from. Our interns also highlight our canteen, which serves a variety of delicious and healthy dishes each day. Finally, we are always up for a friendly game of padel at our new padel court in Aarhus!

Start your development here
The internship lasts five months, starting on 19 August 2024, and is a full-time, unpaid position, but we are flexible regarding your ECTS requirements. If your study programme allows, you will receive a token of our appreciation each month.
