Internship: Business Intelligence – Data Analyst

We are assembling a Data Science (DS) team which, in close collaboration with the Business Intelligence (BI) team, is using data to create real value for our customers. Our BI solutions are already implemented at many customers, which is why we are now ready to go one step further, hereof you together with the DS team will be a key player.

 

An internship in the DS team involves to a great extent hands-on tasks in relation to handling, analysing and cleansing data. In this connection, it is vital that you understand the business logic which is the cornerstone for data. The tasks are wide-ranging, as several DS projects have started, which means there is the possibility of working with different kinds of data. However, common tasks across these projects include rinsing and analysing data, implementing and testing statistical/machine learning models, and visualising and communicating results simply but effectively.

As an intern on the DS team, you will be part of a highly competent group that takes you through all phases of the project. In addition, you will assist in translating user and customer needs and wishes into concrete solutions. It is important that you take a systematic approach to your work and focus on the details. You are driven by the quality of your work, and you take pride in understanding complex solutions.

 

As an intern on the DS team, you will have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and expertise. However, you are expected to possess practical experience within the following areas:

  • Programming in Python and R
  • Handling, analysing and cleansing data
  • Visualising data
  • Statistics and mathematic on a high level
  • Machine learning
  • SQL

 

The internship will last between 5-6 months, starting in August / September 2021. The internship is intended as a full-time position, but naturally we are flexible in relation to your studies and ECTS points’ requirements. This is a paid internship if your studies allow.

 

Want to be part of the BI team? 
Ideally you are studying computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering within machine learning, etc. You are able to work independently and also as part of a team. It is vital that you have a solid understanding of the interplay between people, technologies and processes, and that you are organised, analytical and motivated. You are also proactive, and very committed. Additionally, you must be able to read and understand Danish and English.
