At Systematic, we offer an exciting and well-established internship in Business Intelligence, where you will gain hands-on experience.
Expected start: August 2026
Your Role as a Business Intelligence Intern
As a Business Intelligence Intern at Systematic, you will play an active role in developing data solutions by translating user and customer needs. You will participate in various project phases, providing you with practical experience in data technologies, stakeholder management, best practices, and the operational methods of a BI team.
Your daily tasks may include:
- Preparing and transforming data in Azure to ensure accuracy and quality
- Designing, developing, and enhancing reports and dashboards to meet user requirements
- Providing support in training end-users to navigate and utilise Power BI reports
- Assisting in documenting BI solutions and processes
Join Our Business Intelligence Team
You will become part of our Business Intelligence Team in Global Business Services (GBS) – a dedicated group of eight specialists responsible for everything from customer dialogue and data modelling to building sustainable data warehouses and delivering actionable insights.
Who We Are Looking For
We envisage that you are currently studying for a BSc or MSc in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Most importantly, you are eager to apply your theoretical knowledge in practice and are motivated by seeing your work make a real impact.
You are likely to thrive in this role if you:
- Understand how to work systematically with data and data modelling
- Have experience with front-end development and data visualisation concepts
- Are structured, analytical, and detail-oriented in your work
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken (Danish is an advantage but not a requirement)
- Take initiative and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
- It will be an advantage if you are familiar with one or more of the following: SQL, Python, DAX, Power BI, or Azure.
The internship is a full-time position lasting five months, starting on 17 August 2026. It is a paid position, if your study programme allows. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in a Danish study program and be based in Denmark during the internship period.
Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
Life as an Intern
Interns are valued members of our teams. From day one, you will be assigned a dedicated tutor or mentor who will guide your development and provide ongoing support. You will work alongside experienced colleagues eager to share their knowledge, while being entrusted with real responsibility early in your journey.
We believe in delivering high-quality solutions while maintaining a positive work environment – whether through shared laughter over coffee, engaging discussions, or meaningful connections with colleagues. Beyond your immediate team, you will join our intern network, where you can build relationships and participate in social events with other interns across the organization.
