Join an agile IT department

 

Systematic is growing and we are onboarding more customers, resulting in an increasing demand for IT Service Management development and customer support services. Our new IT Service Management Consultant will join our Service Management and Development Tools department in Aarhus, and work with seven highly skilled and experienced colleagues. The focus of the department is to continuously deliver the services which are required to support the business service desks and customer support while providing the right tools for our software development. In addition to planning and implementing changes and services in collaboration with colleagues and business stakeholders, the department also maintains and provides 2nd-3rd level support.

 

Create value, develop and translate business needs into implementation activities

 

You will be part of a smaller team that is responsible for running our ITSM application, Cherwell. Cherwell is currently being used by 100+ different customers and internal departments. More than 4,000 users have been created in the system. The team provides the incident, problem and change-management tools used by our service desks and creates the support portals and integrations needed for customer product support.

In cooperation with team colleagues, your main responsibility will be to develop our ITSM application Cherwell to continuously support internal and customer needs and implement ‘end-to-end’ solutions inspired by ITIL practices.

 

Furthermore, you will:

  • Translate business needs from all levels of the business into concrete implementation activities in Cherwell for subsequent sprint planning
  • Design and implement the overviews, workflows, integrations, contract architectures, screen designs and functions which are needed
  • Maintain the Cherwell system with integrations, and ensure testing and communication to stakeholders to minimise unplanned disturbances
  • Where possible make use of automation to enable self-service and to simplify testing, monitoring and maintenance tasks
  • Provide 2nd-3rd level support on Cherwell to our service desks
  • Conduct handovers of maintenance and monitoring tasks to our IT operations team through training and guides
  • Stay up to date on new Cherwell features to ensure we utilise those that can increase value for the business

 

Our new colleague

 

We are looking for a new colleague with 2+ years of experience at working with IT Service Management, preferably from a similar position. A passion for ITSM development and ITIL practices would be very valuable for you in this role. And if you have experience at using ITIL practices when delivering IT services, you will be one step ahead.

Furthermore, we are looking for:

 

  • Experience with ITSM applications – preferably Cherwell
  • Experience at developing and configuring ITSM applications to fulfil internal business and/or customer contract needs
  • A service-minded, responsible and good communicator who asks questions, speaks up and also takes great pride in finding constructive and practical solutions to many different technical challenges
  • Good English skills, both verbally and in writing

 

You will undoubtedly stand out if you have experience at working in Cherwell or similar ITSM system with designing, configuring and testing integrations, workflows, screen designs, contract architecture etc. in collaboration with business stakeholders.
