IT Security Lead for Internal IT department

Join our growing Security team

As IT Security Lead you will join a well-established internal IT department, ITM, which in close collaboration work to support the business with everything in relation to internal IT. Our ITM department covers Infrastructure & Operations, Development Tools, Business Applications, and IT Security – the last which you will be a part of. The team is responsible for the overall management of Systematics global IT Security across locations in an international environment.

You define the roadmap and drive IT Security

In the role, you will be responsible for guiding our growing ITM Security team. The team is responsible for managing risks and security threats, defining policies, and managing Systematic´s IPR, and you will take the lead to ensure we reach our goals as a team. You can expect a challenging workday where you will be close to the business and its stakeholders, whilst also deep diving into IT Security issues. The position will report directly to the Head of IT and will require close co-operation with the CISO.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Define, manage and conduct vulnerability audits, penetration tests, forensic IT investigations and manage related outcomes to improve our overall IT Security
• Manage ITM’s compliance with necessary legislation, e.g. the Data Protection act, certifications such as ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks
• Participate in coordination, planning, and prioritizing of security improvements with the involved IT teams and stakeholders, with a focus on minimal business impact
• Execution of strategies to enhance and increase the reliability and security of our IT projects

Skilled in IT Security with hands-on experience

You will steer the security team in the right direction to ensure solid IT Security operational performance. You will strengthen our abilities within IT Security by defining a clear roadmap for progress and execution, while also being hands-on in your daily work. With your sharp communication skills, you can connect to a large variety of stakeholders and present complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues. Your work style is characterized by a proactive mindset and a drive for achieving your goals in close collaboration with your colleagues.

In addition, you:

• Have a relevant educational background and experience in IT Security 
• Have worked with the Microsoft Security-suite and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Have hands-on experience with some IT Security-disciplines such as policies, procedures, controls, awareness, risk assessment and management, information security, information governance, and disaster recovery
• Are experienced with certification and compliance to ISO 27001 standards or equivalent
• We work with security classified projects, therefore, as a Systematic employee, you must have a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years.
