Are you experienced diagnosing and resolving IT incidents? Do you see opportunities for improvement on existing solutions? Are you able to heighten platform security? And do you thrive working in projects supporting a business with various needs and occurring incidents? Well, look no more! We have something interesting here

The position
Our new colleague in IT Operations will be responsible for general administration, provisioning, maintenance and optimisation of our IT platform, that is constantly growing in importance. One of the most vital responsibilities of this role is to harden and mature our platform by improving monitoring and our ability to react quickly to any operational issues – preferably before they impact our customers. In addition to that, some of your key tasks will be to:

  • Design and implement improved platform monitoring capabilities (currently based on SCOM, Grafana)
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents and alerts including updates and patching
  • Ensure high platform availability in close collaboration with other IT teams
  • Ensure that the platform and procedures are in compliance with internal IT security policies and industry standards such as ISO certifications
  • Assist in projects and advise on relevant technical matters
  • Take part in daily operational tasks such as monitoring and incident handling

In addition the role is responsible for enabling automation and ease of service request fulfilments.

Joining the team
You’ll be part of an international, cross functional and distributed operations team, currently consisting of three colleagues in Bucharest, Romania and three in Aarhus, Denmark. The Operations team is in expansion-mode due to the commercial success of Systematic and we expect to add at least two colleagues in Bucharest and three in Aarhus. Looking for a new colleague, we are hoping to find someone with a relevant IT education on minimum bachelor's level such as an AP in Computer Science, Information technology or similar. On top of this, we hope to find someone with five or more years of experience in the IT industry, preferably within IT operations and preferably a few years of experience with hyperconverged infrastructures. Technically we are looking for a strong foundation in virtualization technologies, network, storage, backup and general IT security practices.
The tech stack we can present for you, and prefer that you have experience with, include:

  • Linux/Windows servers
  • Systems monitoring & alerting (e.g. Grafana, SCOM)
  • Kubernetes
  • Hybrid Infrastructure including knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365, Active Directory and Azure AD
