IT Network Specialist for Infrastructure team

A team that delivers efficient and resilient developer services
At Systematic, you will be an integral part of our internal IT department (ITM), which spearheads IT projects, develops and maintains software development applications and business applications, manages IT Infrastructure, and provides comprehensive IT support to our workforce.

As our new IT Network Specialist, you will join a team of twelve colleagues working in Bucharest, Romania and Aarhus, Denmark. Two specialise in networks and will become valuable sparring partners for you.

A Swiss Army Knife with various tasks and specialised responsibility
Joining the Infrastructure team, you will work with various tasks, most of which should be similar to what you work with today. Therefore, you can expect to engage in the following tasks:

  • Design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure.
  • Monitoring and optimisation of network performance to ensure high availability and security.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network issues in collaboration with the team.
  • Planning and execution of network upgrades and integrations.
  • Development and maintenance of documentation for network configurations and procedures.
  • Collaboration with the security team to implement and maintain security protocols.

Part of your initial tasks will be to engage as part of our new data centre expansion, ensure network infrastructure for new global offices and optimise security initiatives in close collaboration with our IT-SEC.

You can expect to work with technologies like Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ISE, DNAC, ASA, SolarWinds, DNS, Load balancers, and Windows and Linux OS systems.

A collaborative, experienced and forward-thinking specialist
We are looking for a new colleague with a theoretical foundation in IT or network technology and at least three years of experience in network administration. Someone with a great knowledge of network protocols, hardware and software and some experience in network security and firewall configurations. Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have experience working agile (SCRUM) and with processes such as ITIL.

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.

You can look forward to joining our Employees Club, which offers almost 100 events of both social and professional character a year – plenty to choose from. Our colleagues also highlight our canteen, which serves various delicious and healthy dishes daily. In addition, we offer several employee benefits such as paid Home Internet, health insurance and a company pension scheme.
