An aspiring Software Developer ready to grow their skillset 
In this role, you will contribute to an internationally used digital defence training platform called SitaWare Aspire. Specifically, you can look forward to: 

  • creating and designing new, high-quality product features that enhance user learning outcomes 
  • working within a Scrum-based development team
  • designing and implementing integrations between existing products and the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • implementing new custom-requested functionalities or features that make a real difference
  • implementing best practices and finding optimum solutions together with the rest of the team
  • troubleshooting, optimising, and solving complex problems in an existing codebase.

 

A training solution that makes a difference 
Joining SitaWare Aspire, you will become part of a team developing an in-app training platform to provide realistic learning seances that will change the experience for thousands of soldiers worldwide. The team is comprised of almost 20 ambitious and highly skilled women and men in roles such as Software Architect, Developer, Instructional Designer, Product Manager, etc., in Aarhus, Denmark and Bucharest, Romania. 


You will join the team working in Aarhus. A new colleague eager to learn and contribute
We are looking for a colleague who holds a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree within software and ideally 1–2 years of experience, possibly from a student job, internship or first role after graduation. Technically, we are looking for someone with a toolbox comprising:

  • Java and JavaScript
  • Experience working in a Scrum set-up, or knowledge herof
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Being comfortable communicating in English, as it is our corporate language and used daily in conversations with colleagues worldwide

 

If you, furthermore, have an interest in or competencies within some of these technologies: Angular, Typescript, Spring, Kotlin, Keycloak, Kubernetes, microservices, relational databases PHP and Shell Scripting, it will be an advantage.
 
Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
