The job we offer
Joining Systematic as a UXD, you will be given a great responsibility being the UXD for our IRIS suite, delivering high-quality interoperability products to the Defence domain. You will ensure a great useability of new features, while succeeding in integrating them into existing features and workflows in the full suite. Your job will be to design and prototype features that support the operational needs of the user with the highest level of simplicity. You will be involved in every phase of the development process, from the early stages to validating the final solution in close collaboration with our product owner, architects and development teams. 

Your tasks will vary, but expect to be handling:   

• The establishment of UX concept as part of feature clarification.
• Exploring options for UX concepts for new business ideas.
• The alignment of proposed solutions with the Product Owner, Architects and the development team.
• Maturing UX prototypes and ensures handover to the development team.
• The inspection of UX during feature implementation.
• The responsibility of maintaining and improving the usability of our IRIS Products.

The team you will be a part of
The IRIS product suite has been on the market for more than 35 years. Nonetheless, the suite continues to evolve and move the ease of interoperability in the defence domain. When you join the IRIS suite, you will join 23 highly skilled colleagues across two development/Scrum teams, including test management, project management and Architects located in Denmark and Romania. We are a welcoming team that cares about each other and believes that teamwork creates the best solutions. 

You will, of course, collaborate greatly with the development teams, but you will also have the pleasure of joining a cross-functional team of UX- and UI-designers covering the full Defence product portfolio, where you can seek valuable support and sparring. 

Your qualifications
We are looking for a new colleague and team member who brings a master’s degree in Digital Design, Information Science, or something similar. Additionally, we look for someone with at least 2-3 years of experience as a UXD in a software company – preferably in B2B, to understand building software for long-term and long-lasting solutions. 

We expect you to have experience in working with prototyping tools, especially Figma. As we work with both national and international customers, you must also have great communication skills in both Danish and English, both orally and in writing.

If you have Defence domain experience it is a benefit, but not a requirement. You just need to find a keen interest in digging into and learning about a complex, but very interesting, domain.
