Experienced IT Specialist for Business Applications-department

Are you looking for your next job opportunity? Here is your chance to take responsibility of our Collaboration Services and Tools and define how we collaborate across Systematic as our new IT Specialist within digital collaboration tools.

A growing department with IT at its core

The position is located at our office in Aarhus and is placed within Systematic’s Global Business Services area. In the position as Senior Specialist, you will join a well-established internal IT-department with approximately 30 highly skilled colleagues, who in close collaboration work to support the business with everything in relation to internal IT. You will be part of the sub-department called Business Applications, counting six colleagues including you. In our team, we are responsible for and operate a variety of applications and digital tools used across Systematic, including our ERP system (Dynamics 365), our HR system (SuccessFactors), and our document management platform. We have a dedicated specialist for each area, and you will be responsible for our SharePoint and collaboration solutions.

You drive everything about our collaboration platform and tools

You will plan, design, develop and implement IT solutions on our collaboration platform that currently cover SharePoint, Teams, WorkPoint, etc. You will ensure that our tools are working well and support the business as needed, driving our work environment towards a modern workplace. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and design and build solutions aligned to our solution landscape, maximising business value. You will be the go-to technical expert in your field who ensures that the right tools are in place and fully implemented.

Specifically, you will:

  • Develop and maintain our collaboration platform roadmap based on business needs and technology developments.
  • Clarify and capture requirements with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Design, develop and approve technical solutions within our collaboration tools scope.
  • Work with suppliers on support and delivery of collaboration solutions.
  • Handle second-line support for collaboration solutions and help enabling the transition of support to our suppliers.
  • Evaluate new features for business value, recommend activation and ensure communication to stakeholders.
  • Follow up on implementations and help to ensure adoption of our collaboration solutions.

Independent and experienced specialist with a flair for SharePoint

You can guide and advise stakeholders on their needs across all organisational levels and are forward-thinking when presenting the right solutions. With your sharp communication skills you can connect to a large variety of stakeholders and present complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues. Your work style is characterised by a proactive mindset and a drive for achieving your goals in close collaboration with your team.

In addition, you:

  • Hold a relevant degree, and have experience in digital collaboration tools, where working with SharePoint, Teams, and Workpoint is not unfamiliar.
  • Have experience working with enterprise systems – preferably from a larger international corporation.
  • Are fluent in English and thrive in an international working environment.
  • Have experience with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). This is a plus but not a requirement.
  • We work with security classified projects, therefore, as a Systematic employee, you must have a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years. Additionally, it is a requirement to obtain a security clearance when working in our Defence Business Unit. Please read more here.

We prioritise your professional and personal development and allow you to attend a wide range of courses and become part of our knowledge network. Moreover, we regularly organise social events.
