Experienced BI Consultant for BI & Data Science department

At our office in Aarhus, you will join a growing team of 20+ skilled colleagues who support Systematic’s business areas with their expertise while developing products and solutions in collaboration with our customers and other business units. Our customers come from both the private and public sectors, and from various industries such as healthcare, defence, the police, education and energy.

We work closely together across the different disciplines and areas of expertise, with the team comprising of project managers, consultants, data scientists, software architects and business developers.


Responsibilities and tasks


Your main responsibility will be to improve quality, help develop our BI solutions and, through close dialogue with the customer and your team, run BI projects from start to delivery and from back-end to front-end. The tasks will vary widely from basic BI architecture solutions to complex BI solutions customised to meet customer needs and requirements. The job involves extensive customer contact.


You thrive on having a wide variety of tasks related to designing, building and implementing BI solutions. Your daily working life will involve:

  • Designing and developing BI solutions
  • Facilitating workshops and building data models that support domains, user behaviour and software
  • Coding and implementing BI solutions
  • Leading your BI colleagues and helping them to develop their skills
  • Working with our data scientist consultants to further develop the BI solution

  • Remain calm when faced with numerous tasks and requirements, maintain an overview and understand how to prioritise the tasks at every stage of the project.

  • Are a team player who enjoys the prospect of actively contributing to the BI & Data Science team and participating in development activities.


Required expertise


  • You probably hold an IT-related master’s degree, but we are also open to other educational backgrounds.
  • After completing your education, you have a minimum of three years of experience working with BI solutions, where experience with Microsoft BI stack is essential.
  • In addition, you have also become acquainted with Azure Cloud, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Microsoft SSIS and SSAS, data warehousing, data modelling and analysis (use of SQL) as well as visualising in TARGIT or Microsoft Power BI.
  • You are fluent in both English and Danish and thrive in an international working environment.
