As our new Test Engineer, you will assure a continuously high quality of our new and innovative training solution SitaWare Aspire, a digital training platform. The solution enables users to “train as you fight” and is an efficient learning platform for our customers. The solution is modern and intuitive, and we continuously improve it to provide the best offering for our customers.
One of our current priorities is the scalability of the Aspire platform to ensure as many concurrent users as possible. We have the same dream for the team. Test Engineer with Test management responsibilities
You will be welcomed as a Test Engineer to Aspire with the primary responsibility of supporting the quality assurance of the platform. However, as we are a growing team you will also engage in some test management responsibilities. In collaboration with our project management, you will set the direction for test. In collaboration with your team, you will ensure early test involvement in the development process.
Your daily tasks will involve the following:
- Actively participating in the development process of our product and test documentation, such as product manuals, deployment instructions and test considerations.
- Designing test cases, executing tests, reporting defects, tracking requirements, and conducting different kinds of test activities like exploratory testing, integration- and system testing.
- Provide risk-based test input.
- Configure test environment and deploy builds.
- Test management tasks like System Test planning, creating test strategies, test reporting etc.
You are the one if you:
- For example, hold a relevant bachelor’s degree or have a background in software testing.
- It is also advantageous if you have a background in the Defence domain, but this is not a prerequisite.
- It would also be advantageous if you have experience working with an e-learning platform, but this is neither a requirement.
- Have some years of experience in quality assurance and are ready to take on test management tasks and responsibilities.
- Take ownership, have a can-do attitude, and have a continuous improvement mindset.
- Are highly detail-oriented but able to work with a flexible approach.
- Have strong communication and stakeholder skills.
- You are fluent in English and thrive in an international working environment.
Practical information
- Travel might be expected to our Office in Bucharest, Romania, where we currently have two colleagues in the team working.
- We will be assessing applications on an ongoing basis as we wish to fill the position as soon as possible.
