

Cyber Security Architect
As Cyber Security Architect you will join a well-established internal IT department (ITM) covering Infrastructure & Operations, Development Tools, Business Applications, and IT Security – there you will be a part of the last mentioned. The IT Security team is responsible for the overall management of Systematics global operational IT security across locations in an international environment, and as our new Cyber Security Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing security solutions to protect the organization's systems, networks, and data from cyber-attacks.
You define the roadmap and drive IT Security
The IT Security-team is responsible for managing risks and security threats, defining policies, and managing Systematic´s IPR, and as architect you will be instrumental in ensuring, that we reach our goals. You can expect a challenging workday where you will be close to the business and its stakeholders, whilst also doing deep dives into IT Security issues. The position will report directly to the Senior Director for ITM and will require close co-operation with the CISO to improve and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
Your primary tasks will include:
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks and threats to the organization's systems and data
- Collaborate with other IT departments and business stakeholders to identify security requirements and ensure security is integrated into all IT initiatives
- Monitor and analyze security logs and events to identify potential security breaches and respond to incidents as necessary
- Stay up to date on emerging security threats, trends, and technologies and provide guidance and recommendations to senior leadership
Skilled in IT Security with hands-on experience
You have strong educational background within the field and multiple years of experience working in Cyber Security or similar. With your sharp communication skills, you can connect to a large variety of stakeholders and present complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues. In addition you:
- Have a strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and CIS Controls
- Are experienced with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, endpoint protection, SIEM, and vulnerability management
- Are experienced with cloud security architectures, specifically on Azure
- Could hold relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent
