Experienced Software Developer for implementing digital collaboration tools

Would you like to help ensure the ongoing digital transformation of our business using tools such as Teams and SharePoint?

You will be responsible for our Collaboration Services, with the possibility of influencing how we collaborate across Systematic. And you will be helping to ensure that we have the right tools and solutions in place for document handling and communication.

You make sure we have the right tools at our disposal for collaborating and communicating across the organisation
As an Experienced Software Developer in Business Applications, which is part of IT Management, you will be responsible for our Collaboration Services. You will independently manage our portfolio of digital collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint while ensuring that they are aligned with our business needs.

Your working day will be varied and involve engaging closely with the business. You will become the technical go-to expert in your field, who ensures that the right tools are in place and fully implemented. Specifically, you will:

  • maintain our Collaboration Services road map based on your understanding of our business needs
  • design, develop and approve technical solutions
  • work with suppliers on solution delivery and support
  • handle second-line support for SharePoint
  • follow up on implementation and the use of different solutions and services.

Freedom of action as part of a dynamic team
On joining Business Applications, you can look forward to sharing offices and your working life with your three close colleagues in Aarhus, as well as the team’s fourth member who is based in Bucharest, Romania. Together, we are responsible for all our internal business services, for which each of us has a particular responsibility. You can therefore look forward to having a say in how your daily tasks and working life unfold. However, even though we are committed to managing our respective projects independently, we also share a fantastic social and professional community, and we are always there for each other.

In addition, you will enjoy a close working relationship with 20 or so colleagues in IT Management. The department is staffed by a young and strongly focused team with a high level of expertise, but also with a lively social environment with room for entertainment. Among other things, our fantastic staff association offers an exciting programme of activities.

Independent and experienced Software Developer with a flair for SharePoint
We envisage you having a technical background, having worked with either IT architecture or project implementation. In addition, it is crucial that you have solid and hands-on experience with SharePoint, and ideally SharePoint team sites.

As a person you know how to work independently, you are used to planning your own time, and you are therefore ready to assume responsibility for your tasks from day one. It is also important that you have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you will be engaging with lots of people throughout our business. And you must be able to identify and translate the needs of the business into the right solutions. Furthermore, we expect you to:

  • hold a relevant degree as a computer scientist, engineer or similar
  • have at least five years of experience from a similar position
  • have experience with SharePoint solutions, CSOM, JavaScript, C#, PowerShell
  • have experience at working with suppliers
  • be able to write and communicate technical information to non-technical recipients
  • speak and write English fluently.
