Configuration Manager/Senior Systems Engineer for Cura


Denmark, Aarhus.


About the position


The position is based at our office in Aarhus, and falls under Systematic’s Healthcare business area. In taking on this newly established position, you will be joining a growing team which is working to further develop and maintain our product Cura.

As our Configuration Manager, you will be the single point of contact for the entire Cura organisation for build or deployment-related enquiries. Your goal is to establish an efficient way of handling changes to the software while taking Cura’s entire value chain into account. This is an opportunity to consolidate and further develop our processes and, in a structured way, work with improving configuration management for the Cura product suite. Together with our Software Architect, you will also set the direction for changes to the Cura product suite.

You will be joining a full-stack development team of approx. 16 colleagues located in Aarhus, Denmark and in Lviv, Ukraine.


Responsibility and tasks


You will be responsible for software configuration management for the entire Cura product suite. You will support the development of new features, and you can therefore expect to take on an exciting role, where configuration and development go hand in hand.


Your everyday tasks will include:

  • Ensuring life-cycle management for changes to the Cura product suite.
  • Ensuring that we can safely build and deploy our services from apps, servers, integrations, conversion tools etc.
  • Maintaining and controlling a functional product, including the identification and documentation of the configuration item structure.
  • Managing the build and release process while working closely with the Product Release Manager.
  • Continuously improving the build and release process, while focusing on further optimising the process and minimising risk.
  • Feature development for the Cura product suite.


Preferred skills


  • You hold a BSc/MSc degree in computer science or similar.
  • You have min. 5 years of experience as a developer.
  • You are structured and analytical in how you work, and take pride in understanding and solving complex challenges.
  • You thrive with processes and dare to challenge the way in which we operate.
  • You are a strong communicator who can help set the direction for Cura.
  • You have an exceptional eye for detail and take pride in delivering quality.


Minimum qualifications


  • You have experience with configuration management.
  • You have experience in working with Java and GIT.
  • You have experience in working with TeamCity, Jenkins or similar.
  • You motivate your colleagues and support their development.
  • You speak and write fluent Danish and English

Practical information


  • You can expect up to 2 weeks of travel a year to our department in Lviv, Ukraine.
