Supporting mission-critical operations at scale
As our new Cloud Architect, you will become part of our Customer Operations department. Here, we ensure the stability, security and performance of mission-critical applications that our customers depend on every day. Working alongside Application Operations, Service Desk and Service Management teams, you will architect cloud solutions that form the backbone of highly skilled operations to support essential services.
We focus on building resilient, secure and optimised Azure cloud architectures that meet the demanding requirements of enterprise-scale operations. You will be working with cutting-edge cloud-native technologies, ensuring our solutions are not just functional, but exemplary in terms of security, performance and cost-efficiency.

As our Cloud Architect, you will be the technical visionary defining how we leverage Microsoft Azure to meet business objectives. You will work at the intersection of business strategy and technical implementation, translating organisational needs into robust, scalable cloud solutions.

- leading the design and architecture of cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
- developing comprehensive architectural blueprints and documentation that guide implementation
- providing technical leadership and mentorship to Azure Engineers and development teams
- collaborating with stakeholders to define technical strategies and cloud roadmaps
- evaluating and recommending new Azure services and tools to enhance our cloud capabilities
- overseeing implementation to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices
- designing and implementing security policies, compliance controls and governance frameworks
- optimising cloud architecture for cost-efficiency, performance and scalability
- conducting architectural reviews and security assessments to ensure quality and resilience
- creating detailed documentation and providing training on Azure architecture patterns
You will be working closely with engineering teams to ensure successful deployment and integration while also maintaining a strategic view of our overall cloud journey. Expect a role that balances hands-on technical work with high-level architectural planning and stakeholder engagement.

Your qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring solid experience in Azure architecture combined with the ability to lead, communicate and drive technical initiatives forward.
We expect:
- a bachelor’s degree as a minimum in computer science, information technology or a related field
- 1–5 years of proven experience as an Azure Architect or similar role
- deep knowledge of Azure services, architecture patterns and best practices
- a strong understanding of cloud security, networking and compliance requirements
- proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform or Bicep
- excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality
- strong communication and leadership abilities – you can explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- fluent English skills (Danish is a plus)
- onsite presence at Aarhus office
