Business-oriented specialist with focus on Power Platform, AI and automation

Group IT (GRIT) is undergoing an organisational change towards a more focused and specialised organisation when it comes to the development of IT solutions. While the GRIT Strategy department has overall responsibility for establishing the plans and strategic direction for Group IT, the GRIT Services department has been established to operate and maintain IT solutions once they have been engineered and designed. This is where our team is putting the focus: designing and implementing solutions that will be handed over for operations and support in a structured way. 
The team is located in Aarhus, Denmark, and Bucharest, Romania, has 12 members, and consists of subject matter experts and architects in the following areas: ERP (D365), integrations, and a wider range of business applications; HR solutions (SuccessFactors); SharePoint and collaboration solutions; ITSM (Cherwell and Ivanti); and automation and AI (Power Platform, Copilot, Claude).

The role
We are looking for a Senior Specialist in Power Platform and AI who combines deep, hands-on technical expertise with the ability to understand business problems and design the right solutions. This role sits at the intersection of intelligent automation and artificial intelligence — two areas that are fundamentally changing how we work.

You will be building solutions that span across all our business units, working closely with stakeholders to help them articulate their requirements, and collaborating with our solution architect to ensure your implementations fit within our broader technology vision.

Your day-to-day work will include the following tasks:

• Build intelligent automation solutions: Design and develop Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate) that solve real business problems across the organisation, eliminate manual work, and improve process efficiency; integrate Power Platform solutions with our enterprise systems.
• Drive AI implementation and adoption: Lead Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption initiatives, identifying high-value use cases and help users extract maximum benefit; design and build custom AI agents (e.g. using Copilot Studio); integrate AI capabilities into business processes and applications, making AI accessible where users need it; help improve governance frameworks for AI usage that balance innovation with risk management.
• Requirements gathering and solution design: Work with stakeholders across business units to understand their challenges and translate them into implementable solutions; provide advice on what is technically possible and recommend appropriate approaches, following best practice and ensuring architectural coherence.
• Collaboration and knowledge transfer: Work closely with our solution architects to ensure your solutions align with the broader architectural direction; collaborate with GRIT Services teams to ensure smooth transitions and supportable solutions; share knowledge and foster capabilities across the team.

Your profile
We expect you to hold a relevant degree in IT at bachelor's level or higher.

You have several years of experience with Power Platform combined with experience in AI:

• Power Platform: A strong portfolio of Power Platform solutions you have built (Power Apps and Power Automate); deep understanding of Power Platform architecture, including connectors, data sources, security, and governance; experience with canvas apps, model-driven apps, and cloud flows; knowledge of Power Platform administration, application lifecycle management, and licensing requirements; understanding of Dataverse and data modelling.
• AI and Copilot: Practical experience implementing Microsoft 365 Copilot or similar enterprise AI tools; understanding of generative AI capabilities and limitations in business contexts; experience building custom AI agents and chat-based interfaces; awareness of AI governance, ethics, and security considerations; ability to identify appropriate use cases for AI versus traditional automation.
• Solution design and delivery: Ability to design end-to-end solutions that span multiple systems; strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex requirements; understanding of when to build custom versus leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities.
• Communication and interpersonal skills: Comfortable advising stakeholders and shaping requirements; able to explain technical solutions to non-technical audiences; balancing technical quality with delivering value.
