What you will be doing 

We are looking for a dynamic Business Intelligence Manager to lead our talented business intelligence team and drive the future of data-driven decision-making within our company. In this role, you will set the strategic direction for business intelligence, ensuring high data quality and accessibility to support key business decisions. You will also act as a key partner to Finance, IT, and our business units to ensure seamless data integration and insights. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

- Leading and developing a team of seven business intelligence professionals, fostering innovation and collaboration. 

- Defining and executing the business intelligence strategy in alignment with business needs. 

- Overseeing the development and optimisation of dashboards, reports, and data models (primarily in Power BI). 

- Driving automation and process improvements within the business intelligence landscape. 
  
 

The Team 

You will lead a talented and diverse business intelligence team in a dynamic and growing software company with a strong data-driven mindset. The team consists of seven members, including a mix of experienced professionals and young talent, such as interns and student workers. Together, they cover both front-end Power BI development and back-end data engineering and BI architecture. In your role as manager, you will lead all aspects of people management, including 1:1 meetings, development sessions, and beyond. Together with your team, you will cultivate a culture centered on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, driving the development of business intelligence within the company. 
  
 

What we are looking for 

If you have a strong background in business intelligence and data analytics, and you are passionate about driving impactful BI solutions, this is an exciting opportunity for you. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to translate business needs into clear, actionable insights while working closely with your team and internal stakeholders. Your leadership experience and collaborative approach will be key to guiding your team to success. 

In addition, we are looking for a colleague who has: 

- A degree in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 

- 5+ years in BI, data analytics, or a related field, preferable with experience from a similar leadership role. 

- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and data modelling. Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. 

- Fluency in English.
