At Systematic, you will become part of our internal IT department (ITM). With a focus on high standards, ITM is responsible for providing IT support to all employees as well as maintaining and developing software development applications, business applications and IT infrastructure.
You will join a small team of dedicated colleagues, where you will collaborate on delivering efficient developer services and improving the developer experience. 
 

Your responsibilities and contribution
You will contribute to making the business more efficient and work with the rest of the organisation to ensure that services are continually maintained and improved.
This job makes an impact every day on the working lives of our developers.

 

As an Application Supporter, your main responsibility will be to support all business applications related to development tools. Moreover, your key tasks include:  

  • Supporting applications by resolving incidents and problems
  • Maintaining relevant applications by updating systems and installing the latest releases
  • Developing minor fixes or service requests for the business 
  • Assisting in supporting and developing integrations for other systems
  • Preparing maintenance plans and scheduling these according to the change management process
  • Ensuring that applications are monitored and that events are triggered.


Lastly, you should expect about 5-10 days of travel a year.
 
Are you the person we are looking for?
This is the job for you if you are interested in working with the following wide range of technologies which we expect you to have some experience with or knowledge of:

  • PowerShell, Bash and Python for Windows and Linux systems
  • Terraform, Ansible and Helm
  • Jira, TeamCity, Nexus, Black Duck, Bitbucket and GitHub Copilot
  • Kubernetes and Docker

 

We also envisage that you are service-minded and possess excellent communication skills. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience from a similar role, and be capable of working independently while also being a team player when required. Furthermore, you must be fluent in English, as it is our corporate language and is used daily in conversations with colleagues worldwide. 


Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here
